Here's another resort in the Patchen area that you might want to add to your curiosities section. https://www.cardcow.com/818705/patchen-california-edgemont-resort/
It's mentioned in the Ghost Towns of the Santa Cruz mountains too.
https://books.google.com/books?id=JZezEV0enzoC&pg=PA18&lpg=PA18&dq=edgemont+resort+patchen&source=bl&ots=En3o40a59y&sig=ACfU3U0Ujo8LZ249yX8c8DsLyJ7uJbRzow&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwixn5mX1ZDpAhUQqp4KHQHpBIEQ6AEwAXoECAoQAQ#v=onepage&q=edgemont%20resort%20patchen&f=falseAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04967426752652433982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2151799760990306051.post-8089285799504719012019-02-02T20:54:11.850-08:002019-02-02T20:54:11.850-08:00Really imaging writing on Laurel and Glenwood-Area...Really imaging writing on Laurel and Glenwood-Area Resorts. Such kind of blog really takes place on creating projects for my research as well. After reading out this post I got to know about the Glenwood Hotel (1884-1924) and Summer Home Farm (Camp Redwood Glen) (1882-Present) really helpful info for all. Also got some helpful information about the California County Park. Thanks for this wonderful creation.Joseph T. I couldn't actually find any information regarding its closure or fire. I did read about the barn, though, hence why I included that tidbit. Very cool that you live in the old station agent's house. I'd love to see photos. We are the owners of the old magnetic springs property. It's only 3 acres now but the barn is still standing! Barely! We live in the house that was the station agent shack or one of the cottages.
I can send pics if you like
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03568055763938734674noreply@blogger.com
